He moved to Beijing at the age of 12 to attend the Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy. His acting career began in 2014 with the film Beijing Love Story, where he was handpicked by director Chen Sicheng. This debut earned him a nomination for Best New Actor at the Beijing College Student Film Festival.
